Sarajevo based eSEE Secretariat acts as an executive arm of the Initiative that addresses strategic and day-to-day needs of the Working Group, thus providing know-how, expert, technical, and administrative assistance to its members. The Secretariat facilitates the communication between the Chair, Regional Cooperation Council and Government Representatives and synthsizes the output of the working group. It also serves as a focal point for visibility of the Initiative.
eSEE Secretariat is hosted by UNDP Country Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina since February 2002.
